The Best way to do Facebook Marketing
With your Facebook profile under your belt, you probably feel you have this Network Marketing issue licked. Because you've spent a lot of time socializing with your friends on Facebook. Is that correct?
If you said Yes, I am afraid you may be in for a rude awakening. Creating a Company Page profile on Facebook is really a lot different than your personal profile. The people (fans) who follow your Company page aren’t as forgiving as your friends on your Personal Profile. If you goof up on your Company Page, they more than likely will let you know it. And these people have opinions of your brand that matter that they may share it with others.
Somewhat as you feel because it is so new, other marketers are floundering with respect to social networking as well. Other Marketers are using Trial and Error Methods also. The good news is that we can sometimes learn from others mistakes. I say sometimes because it is an ever changing landscape so it’s still a good idea to test.
Below you will find some Strategies on Social Network Marketing. Because these are generally down to earth you’ve probably seen them before. But yet, hearing the same solid information multiple times, grounds you in the fundamentals which hopefully helps you avoid mistakes.
Below are five strategies to guide you to a successful social network marketing campaign:
1. Don't make the mistake of being on multiple Social Networks at the same time.
As a multitasking marketer, in your excitement to begin marketing you're probably are on Twitter, Plurk, or Facebook all at the same time and are tweeting, plurking, and posting status updates. This same thing happens to many beginners. However, what you will soon come to realize is that it is really impossible to be active on all these sites at the same time. It just takes too much time.
2. So the best approach is only to pick one and grow your fan base on that network.
Multitasking sometimes causes the work quality to suffer. Especially when the multitasking involves two time consuming tasks. The trick is to focus on only one at a time. Learn the Social Network inside and out. Promote and grow your fan base. Socialize with your fans, regularly post updates, run a contest for a worthwhile cause. With a strong fan base in place, it is a lot easier to hand it off to someone else to maintain it .Thereby freeing you up to start on another social network.
3. If possible find a "champion" for your brand.
If you can find a brand champion, have that person moderate or manage your social network profile by posting status updates, asking a question, or running a contest. But it's important that your fans are comfortable with and trust the champion. Because fans don't easily trust a brand unless they know the champion that represents the brand on the network.
4. Be yourself on the network If you’re faking it and not real, it will show.
Social networking is all about socializing with people, knowing them and letting them find out about you, sharing your thoughts-building relationships. So as they say, it’s hard to create a relationship on something that isn't real.
5. Participate.
Keep in mind there are others in the universe. Some other marketers are also trying to increase their brand awareness, and they may be your competitor. So go and communicate with your fans. Approach it like you would a networking event. Ask questions. What you'll discover is that you'll learn a lot about your brand and Network Marketing at the same time. Just communicate with your fans.
A Facebook or social network is similar to a regular social event and how we relate to people impacts how we are viewed. Being kind, nice, and polite will go a long way on your social network marketing journey, and maybe just maybe you'll see that it isn't such a lonely journey.
